LISTENING LOUNGE

A lounge room for those who know the night’s most memorable moments often happen after everything else ends, shared with a select few, in a space you make your own. 

Set your own tone and settle in. Your personal Experience Host will guide the way through sound, mood, and menu, shaping the evening around you.

The listening lounge comfortably sits 12 or up to 18 cocktail style. Private bookings only, no minimum spend required.

At your fingertips you will find a collection of 100 vinyl records, hand-selected by the W’s Music Curator, for you to spin at will. Slow down, lean in, and let the music shift you from one state the next. This is a bespoke listening experience for a private community to connect, converse and create. 

Immerse yourself in sound with state of the art audio speakers and a turntable at your disposal. Enjoy an elegant hi-low menu where cocktail craft comes first. And you’ll be lulled into comfort as you feast on our version of new and nostalgic late night soul food, refined with elegant twists.

For those looking to truly disconnect and experience the Listening Lounge as it’s meant to be: slow & intentional - request our analogue experience. 

Your Experience Host will guide you to place all mobile phones in a lock box during your booking. 

For those who opt-in, a W Brisbane disposable camera will provided for you for an additional $25 to still capture the moments - enjoy the delayed gratification.

Other helpful tips

  • Is there parking available at W Brisbane?

    Valet parking through W Brisbane is available for a flat fee of $70.00 

    Wheels (aka our valet team) is located at the hotel's entrance on 81 North Quay on the left hand side as soon as you pull into the driveway. The height limit of the carpark is 2.2m. 

    Alternatively, self-parking with Brisbane Quarter is available through Wilson Parking. Please note that this is an external company and not in association with W Brisbane. For more information, rates or how to book, click here.

  • Can I pick my own music?

    Yes. At your fingertips you will find a collection of 100 vinyl records, hand-selected by the W’s Music Curator, for you to spin at will in the Listening Lounge.

  • I have more questions, can I speak to a human?

  • Is there minimum spend?

    We do not have minimum spend. This is a bespoke private experience and, to continue avoiding minimum spends, we kindly ask guests to respect our cancellation policy. A credit card is required to confirm your booking, and a $20 per person fee may be charged if your booking is cancelled within 24 hours.

  • Can I play my own music?

    Yes, of course. If you have finished exploring our collection of vinyl records, you are welcome to connect your device via Bluetooth to our system. Your Experience Host will help you.
